Mission & Projects
Psalm 2:8 'Ask of me and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.
As a church we have always felt a call to the nations, to date we have sent people out to over 30 different nations. We are committed to the communication of the gospel wherever the Lord may send us.
Pray ~ Give ~ Go
Our Mission
‘If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear Children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.’ (1 John 3:17-18)
Our Aim
To involve everyone in constant prayer, regular giving and in some personal a commitment for tackling poverty in Ghana, Kenya and India.
Pray – on your own and in home groups
Give – not only money, but sometimes materials (eg. medicines, school books, etc,)
Go – some may go out to offer special skills and practical help from time to time.
Haiti
In response to the disasterous earthquake in Haiti, three ladies from this church went out to help with medical relief work with YWAM. Due to a wonderful response from local people they were able to take out much needed medical supplies and children's clothing, along with gifts for the children. We also enabled a generator to be purchased by YWAM to provide much needed power.
Ghana
We have known Rev Emmanuel Boamah-Agyeleum in the town
of Takoradi in Ghana for more than ten years. People from Shaftesbury visit
the church there regularly and Emmanuel and his wife Monica have visited here.
Emmanuel as well as being a Pastor and Church leader has a wonderful ministry with his regular Television and radio programmes which reach out to many thousands of people.
Monica's vision is for the pre-school, which offers godly, motherly care and a feeding programme for children up to 6 years; since September 2008 she has begun primary education from 6 years upwards and now has two classes. The pre-school has a dedicated building next to the Worship Centre.
We helped with the purchase of some land upon which they already have
begun to build a Church, School and medical centre, click here to view more photos.

India
In Bangalore, southern India, we work with Pastor Singhand his wife, Eunice. We have helped in provding him with transport to enable him to visit church members, and also given into his ministry with the poor, orphans, widows and lepers.
Eunice Singh is the headmistress of school which they started in their home. It has now expanded to more than 700 children, mainly from very poor families. There are stong links between our Sunday school and the children of Pastor Singh's church.
